Terms & Disclosures

The short version: no luck involved, no guaranteed trips, cancel anytime, and optional giving to trade-school scholarships.

1. What VoyageQueue is

VoyageQueue is a membership club. Members pay a monthly fee and are placed in a waiting line for the line (tier) they join. Part of every payment goes into that line's trip fund. When the fund can pay for the next trip, the member at the front of that line is offered it.

2. No chance, no drawings

There are no random drawings, raffles or games of chance. Your place is set only by when you joined and kept your membership paid. Members vote on which catalog trip is offered next; the vote never decides who gets a trip.

3. Trips are not guaranteed

Joining does not guarantee you will ever receive a trip. How fast trips are funded depends on how many people join and stay paid. Any wait time shown is an estimate based on today's numbers and can get longer or shorter.

3b. If sign-ups slow down or stop, you may pay for your own trip

The trip fund grows only from members' payments. If new sign-ups slow down or stop, your trip may be funded mostly or entirely by your own monthly payments, plus whatever is already in the fund for your trip. That means you could keep paying for as long as it takes for your payments to cover your trip cost. Your dashboard shows this 'self-funded' timeline. By joining, you confirm you understand and accept this. You can cancel at any time, but cancelling removes you from the line.

4. Where your money goes

Of each membership payment, the club keeps an operating fee (currently shown on the home page) and the rest goes to that line's trip fund. Extra trip-fund payments go 100% toward your own future trip. If you choose 'Buy it now', you pay the rest of your trip cost (after credit for your own payments in that line and your extra fund) plus a buy-it-now fee (currently 10%); this payment is non-refundable. Trip fund money is used only to pay for awarded trips or scholarship gifts chosen by winners. An optional monthly gift is shown separately at checkout. It is processed by Pledge and the Pledgeling Foundation, an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) public charity, which grants it to the school or fund you pick (Pledge may charge a small processing fee). The Pledgeling Foundation has final legal control over granted gifts, as required for charitable donations.

5. Missing a payment

If your paid period ends without renewal, you leave the line. If you rejoin later, you start again at the back. Payments already made are not refunded and do not carry your old place.

6. Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel anytime from your dashboard; you'll leave the line and autopay stops. Membership fees are non-refundable once your 30-day period starts. Extra trip-fund payments stay on your account and are used if you reach the front again; contact us about unused balances.

7. Your offer: accept, pass or donate

When you reach the front you have a set number of days (shown in your offer) to accept the trip, pass (you move back 3 places), or donate the full trip value to trade-school scholarships at an approved school. If you don't choose in time, the trip is accepted for you. Trips have no cash value.

8. Giving to trade schools

VoyageQueue may, at its discretion, make its own gifts from its operating fees to accredited trade schools and nonprofit trade-scholarship funds. Donated trip values and members' optional gifts are processed through Pledge and the Pledgeling Foundation (a 501(c)(3)), which grants them to the school or fund chosen. Gifts go to the school's foundation or the fund, never directly to students. We publish totals on the Impact page. Membership fees, trip-fund payments and buy-it-now payments are not donations and are not tax-deductible. Pledge sends a receipt for optional gifts you make yourself; we don't promise that any gift is deductible for you, so ask your tax advisor. When a winner donates a trip's value, that value came from the trip fund, not from the winner, so it is generally not a deduction for the winner.

9. Who can join

You must be 18 or older and live in a US state where VoyageQueue is offered. Some states are not available yet; residents of those states cannot join.

10. Travel bookings

Trips are booked through licensed travel providers. Dates are subject to availability, and travel documents (such as passports for international trips) are the traveler's responsibility. If any tax applies to a trip you receive, it is your responsibility; we may ask for tax information where the law requires it.

10b. VoyageQueue is an intermediary

VoyageQueue only runs the membership, the waiting lines and the trip funds, and arranges trips on members' behalf. All flights, lodging, tours, event tickets, transportation and other travel services are provided by independent third-party companies (such as airlines, hotels, tour operators, venues and licensed travel agencies). VoyageQueue is not a travel provider, carrier, hotel or tour operator, and does not own, operate or control those services. Each provider's own terms, policies and liability limits apply to your trip. To the fullest extent allowed by law, VoyageQueue is not responsible for the acts, errors, omissions, delays, cancellations, injuries, losses or damages caused by any third-party provider. By joining, you acknowledge and accept this.

10c. Our software and content

The VoyageQueue name, logo, website, app, software, source code, algorithms, pricing and queue logic, designs and content are owned by VoyageQueue and protected by copyright, trademark and trade secret laws, including the Colorado Uniform Trade Secrets Act. Membership gives you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the service. You may not copy, scrape, crawl, data-mine, reverse engineer, decompile, frame, resell or build a competing service from any part of VoyageQueue, or use bots or automated tools to access it. Breaking these rules may end your membership, and we may take legal action.

11. Changes

We may update prices, trip budgets or these terms. If the terms change, we'll ask you to accept the new version before your next payment.

11b. Auto-renewal

If you turn on autopay, your membership renews every 30 days at your current price (or your locked founder price) until you cancel. We email a receipt for each charge and will tell you before any price change takes effect. You can cancel online anytime from your dashboard, in the same way you signed up.

11c. If VoyageQueue closes

Draft for legal review: if VoyageQueue ever stops operating, we'll give members at least 30 days' notice, stop taking new payments, and use each line's trip fund for the members in that line (by awarding trips in line order or refunding fund balances pro rata), not for company expenses.

11d. Ending accounts

We may suspend or close an account for fraud, abuse, chargebacks, using bots, or breaking these terms. If we close your account without cause, unused extra trip-fund payments are refunded.

11e. Limits of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, VoyageQueue's total liability to you is limited to the membership fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer-protection laws that can't be waived.

11f. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Before filing any claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days. How formal disputes are handled will be finalized after legal review.
